When I was younger, my mom labeled me as something I would never forget.
It became part of my identity.
But I lost it.
I transferred my focus to other things, like sports and school.
But looking back, it was never truly gone. The spirit was always there.
The spirit of an entrepreneur.
For the last year, I’ve been very unconfident as an “entrepreneur.” Constant anxiety. I felt lost, with no direction. Everything felt so uncertain.
It led me to think: “Could I ever earn that title back?”
I tried desperately for the last 12 months…
Side hustles, self-help books, and business podcasts.
But now, I don’t want it back.
My idea of an entrepreneur was skewed. I thought there was a playbook I could follow to become successful.
Instead, I’m pioneering a new breed of entrepreneur.
One who uses E-sauce…
In the last few years, entrepreneurs have got a bad name. People have started to associate the word with scammy guys who will do anything to make a quick buck.
It pains me to be associated with people like this.
I want to restore entrepreneurship back to its former glory.
So I’m redefining my purpose online.
My brand will be based on the core values of:
- Authenticity
- Confidence
- Curiosity
I don’t claim to be a GOATed entrepreneur (just yet). I’m still in the learning phase, but I’ve made so much progress since last year. My hope is to help others define their personal philosophy and apply it to building their own business.
Don’t worry, The Friday Framework will still be story-based and provide value, even if you’re not an “entrepreneur.” Thank you for being a part of this journey.
If you don’t want to build a personal brand online, no worries.
But don’t forget, you’re always building a personal brand offline.
Everything you do adds or takes away from your reputation. How you carry yourself impacts your ability to create lasting change for others.
So consider this: What values do you hold yourself to?
Give it a thought.
Stay curious my friends,
See you next week!
