Find Your Inspiration (Hidden in Plain Sight)

Newsletter

Hey friends,

In 2020 - the pandemic shut down the world.

Stuck in the house with nowhere to go, I resorted to snooping around.

I found a treasure - hidden in plain sight.

One that I had passed by so many times before.

A shelf, full of knowledge, from the world's greatest minds.

After sifting through hundreds of books, here are the 5 that I think are most worth your time.

If you would like to discuss any of these topics, please reach out, you know where to find me :).

1. The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson

A message about compound growth, at its finest.

3 years ago, this book lead me back to a love of reading.

I’m still trying to master its lessons today.

If you’re ready to build a long-term philosophy, start here.

2. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Re-reading this book for the third time now.

It is interesting to re-read a book…

The knowledge stays the same, but you’re different (hopefully for the better).

If you want to lead others to greatness, start here.

3. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

I touched on this book last week and I will again today.

The message is that important.

The book is 250 pages long.

You can get through the main point in about the first 30 pages.

The real challenge is putting the lesson into practice.

If you are constantly living in the past or future, start here.

4. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

A dense read about mindset.

Hill goes into deep psychology about human desire and the path toward wealth.

Don’t start this book if you are not ready to read it - only you will know.

If you want riches (even beyond $$$), start here.

5. The Almanac of Naval Ravikant by Eric Jorgenson

Naval is one of the greatest minds of our time.

If you choose not to read this book, at least listen to his podcasts.

He speaks on building wealth, proper judgment, and happiness.

If you desire any of those, start here.

I urge you to read at least one of these books - but, if reading isn’t your thing - no worries.

✍️ Quote of the Week:

“I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.” - Groucho Marx

Happy learning my friends,

See you next week!
