They Said: "You'll Never Use Your Major"

Health

Hey Friend!

Only 27% of people work in the field of their college major.

So it’s not surprising that I don’t work in anything related to Exercise & Sports Science or Public Health.

But that lead me to start thinking…

What am I supposed to do with all of this information that I studied for 5 years?

(yeahhh… I took an extra year, but for a good reason!)

I chose to study health because it’s one of the most important aspects of our lives, if not THE most important aspect.

On top of that, I’ve always wanted to be an author.

So these 2 ideas combined led me to a conclusion.

Write a book on health.

I polled my Twitter followers to see what they would be most interested in reading about.

The results came back and 63% of the voters said they were most interested in learning more about muscle growth (out of a whopping total of 11 votes lol).

But here’s the problem…

There’s so much misinformation out there about muscle growth and it’s hard to distinguish what's true and what is “bro-science.”

So, that’s where I come in.

I’ll be researching the most common questions about muscle growth and giving it to you in an easy-to-read guide, backed by the latest science.

Here are the core questions I want to answer for my readers:

  1. What is muscle growth?
    1. I’ll explain the science behind muscle growth from a biological perspective (don’t worry, even if you don’t have a dense science background, you’ll be able to understand)
  2. What’s the best diet for muscle growth?
  3. What is a good workout routine for muscle growth?
    1. Included with a workout plan specific for muscle growth
  4. What time frame you should expect for muscle growth?
  5. What are the best practices for muscle recovery?

But just because you are jacked, doesn’t mean you have optimal health.

Muscle growth is a great place for people to start their fitness journey - it gets them into a routine and they often see results quickly. But it isn’t the end goal of my health book series (more on this later down the line).

I’ve been brewing this idea for a few weeks now and have been studying the topic for years. So, I expect to release the book by the end of August.

As I progress through the project, I will keep y’all updated and give a more precise release date!

Stay tuned.
