Hey Friends,
One of my mentors, Jim Rohn, has told me many times:
When youāre on vacation, be on vacation. When youāre at work, be at work.
Easier said than doneā¦
Iām on my 5th day of a 30-day vacation!
I left Texas, for a cruise through Mexico. Then, heading to Japan for 2 weeks.
Quick update from the beaches of Mexico:
But the thing isā¦ the week before I left, I was unhappy at work. I was counting down the days until I could leave. I was at my job, but my mind was on vacay.
But now on vacation, I keep getting worried about work.
So, this is a quick reminder to you (& myself) to be present in your daily life. Wherever you are, and whatever youāre doing: be there. The current moment is all we have - donāt let the past or future ruin it.
š¢ Quote of the Week
āI find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they plan their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change.ā - Jim Rohn
š Try This!
Space-time Bridging is a tool that has helped me increase my focus & control my anxieties. Sounds funky. But it is perfect for people who donāt want to spend long periods of time meditating, but still want the benefits. It only takes about 3 min, once you know how to do it. Try it out and see if it is helpful for you.
Have a good weekend,
-Rocky "Space-time" Ferony
